Hyogo, Japan – June 26, 2024 – Toyo Tire Corporation (Headquarters: Itami City, Hyogo Prefecture; President & CEO: Takashi Shimizu; hereinafter, “Toyo Tire”) announced that its OPEN COUNTRY A/T III has been selected as the original equipment for the Toyota Motor Corporation’s all-new Land Cruiser “250,” which went on sale in June 2024 in the Middle East and elsewhere.
Ever since its launch, the Land Cruiser has continued to evolve while sustaining its signature reliability, durability and off-road performance.
The new Land Cruiser “250” has been developed with the aim of improving comfort and ease of handling whether on or off-road.
To this new Land Cruiser, Toyo Tire supplies OPEN COUNTRY A/T III, exclusive all-terrain tires that combine design and performance. Through the application of our proprietary tire design base technology “T-MODE” to tire pattern designs, these tires support both off-road performance in poor conditions and handling stability for on-road driving of Land Cruiser “250.”
